Incomprehensible as it may be, fall has already wrapped up, and the only thing colder than the looming weather in Minnesota, is the back of my freezer. But that doesn't stop true "Lakers." No. You laugh in the face of mind-numbing bitter coldness, and break the ice on your car doors to go explore. You're still out there fishing, and frolicking around on the (frozen) hills, trails, and ponds… still seeking out your favorite resorts.

Incomprehensible as it may be, summer is already wrapping up, and the only thing more colorful than the language (in light of that fact) is the kaleidoscopic brilliance of fall. Having had the privilege of being born and raised in this city, I can tell you first hand that Fergus Falls is a community that you "otter" visit!

Rich in historic and artistic culture, mixed with a pulsing, entrepreneurial spirit, Bemidji continues to be a dynamic regional center.
Once considered solely a summertime vacation getaway, the Zenith City - as it was dubbed by early settlers for being the highest and best - Duluth, Minnesota has made concerted efforts to transform itself into a true year-round visitor destination. That hard work is paying huge dividends.
The Park Rapids area boasts more than 400 lakes so visitors can fish, swim, boat, water ski, tube, kayak, canoe, and paddle board to their heart's delight. The Crow Wing Chain alone features 11 lakes and gives rise to the tranquil Crow Wing River, a state water trail.
Rainy Lake has legendary status in northeastern Minnesota. The spectacular scenery, rich natural resources, and vibrant history of the area prompted the establishment of Voyageurs National Park.
